In accordance with the provisions of current legislation on the protection of personal data, we inform you that your data will be integrated into the processing system belonging to BEEWINE, whose registered office is located at 86 rue Pierre et Marie Curie 34430 SAINT JEAN DE VEDAS – France.

Data retention

In accordance with current regulations, BEEWINE informs you that data relating to the purchase of a service (company details, type and amount of purchase) will be kept for the period strictly necessary for processing, in accordance with local regulations. For example, in accordance with French law, we are obliged to keep payment and invoicing information for a period of 10 years.
Until you inform us otherwise, we understand that your data has not been modified, that you agree to inform us of any changes and that we have your consent to use it for the purposes mentioned.

Data processing

BEEWINE informs that it will process data in a lawful, fair, transparent, adequate, relevant, limited, accurate and up-to-date manner. BEEWINE therefore undertakes to take all reasonable steps to ensure that any inaccurate data is deleted or rectified without delay.
BEEWINE will process your data in order to fulfil its contractual obligations to print your order and manage your customer account. Without this data, we may not be able to process your order or invoice the services ordered.
BEEWINE will also process your information to send you promotional offers and product information if you have given consent to do so. You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing and product information at any time by contacting customer service.

Type of data collected, use and retention period

Cookies

Functional cookies: to enable you to place an order or access your customer account, our site deposits cookies in your browser. These cookies are mandatory for the website to function properly. The session cookie has a maximum lifetime of 24 hours; the basket cookie has a lifetime of 30 days.

Statistical cookies: we use a self-hosted version, on a French server (O2Switch in Clermont Ferrand) to measure website traffic. This data is anonymized and kept for 24 months. It is used to adapt our hosting infrastructure to the volume of visits, in order to maintain an optimal user experience. You can refuse this tracking by activating your browser’s “Do not track” function.

Data entered in our contact/quotation request forms

In order to be able to respond to our users’ requests, we store the data entered by the user in the contact and quote request forms, which may include surnames, first names, e-mail addresses, company names and telephone numbers. We also store the sender’s IP address. This data is kept for 12 months. However, in the event of spam or unwanted form filling, we keep the user’s IP address indefinitely, as part of our fight against spam, in order to ban the user who is the source of abuse. This data is used for commercial purposes in the event of a request for a quotation or commercial information. It is only passed on to third parties when these third parties act as subcontractors. The latter are then subject to the same rules of confidentiality as BEEWINE and may not transmit, re-use or store this data outside the confidentiality and data use contract signed between BEEWINE and the user.

Data provided in connection with newsletter registration

The data provided when subscribing to the newsletter, i.e. e-mail address and, optionally, first and last name, are kept indefinitely without any specific action on the part of the user. Once the registration has been validated by the user, he/she may cancel his/her subscription at any time. In the event of unsubscription, the user’s data is deleted.

Data provided for online sales

User account data, purchase details and delivery address are stored for an unlimited period. The user has access to rectify or delete his data via his user account. When the user account is deleted, all data is removed from the website. The user is informed that upon deletion of his/her data, he/she will no longer have access to his/her invoices or purchase history on the website.

For accounting purposes, however, billing data will be kept for 10 years by BEEWINE from the closing of the current balance sheet.

User rights

In accordance with the rights conferred by current data protection regulations, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, limitation of processing, deletion, portability and opposition to the processing of your personal data by sending your request to the postal address given above or via the contact form. You may contact the relevant supervisory authority (CNIL) to make any complaint you consider appropriate.

Data transfer

BEEWINE informs that it may transfer data when necessary (for example to subcontractors – host).
This transfer of data will be carried out in compliance with the guarantees, measures and rights provided for by current legislation on the protection of personal data and in accordance with this privacy policy and BEEWINE’s data transfer agreement.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy was last updated on 01/03/2024. From time to time, BEEWINE may make changes to its Privacy Policy and may update this Privacy Policy on its website. We reserve the right to update our privacy policy at any time and recommend that you review it frequently.
